Oh, I watched the English trailer of it (Yep, they released the trailer with English text and voice overs, yay!) so knowing who his Japanese voice actor is means nothing to me due to me not intending to play it in Japanese, lol :P But thanks for the character name... Prompto, I wonder if it's because he's quick ;)

Prompto is a Latin word, from which the English word "prompt" was derived. Prompto may mean "for the ready [man]", or "for the quick [man]".

Argentum is the Latin word for "silver".

Thus, Prompto's name may have been an attempt to translate "quicksilver" into Latin.  Quicksilver is an alternative name for the element mercury. A heavy, silvery d-block element, mercury is the only metallic element that is liquid at standard conditions for temperature and pressure.

All of their names are like this, like Noct for example.

Noctis Lucis Caelum is a Latin phrase that may mean either "Sky of the Night's Light" or "Sky of the Light's Night". Noctis and his father, King Regis, thus share a similar naming theme pertaining light and sky.
