Considering the competition in the kids/family business, it's reasonable to not overprice a game that appeals to that crowd.
And, let's face it, Kirby RC really has a "kiddie" visual to it.

But those looks, with a 39.99$ price tag, seems like a really good combination to attract those consumers.
