Of course getting a refund from the credit card company would be the first choice but what would Sony's reaction be on a bounced payment? Anyone else think that could end in a banned account?
I think going to Sony first was a valid choice even though Sony could probably not verify if this was actually a case of a hacked account or just the same user buying from a different console.
So I'd cut both Sony and the user some slack.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
