Of course, I know it is a bold prediction, but I strongly believe it can manage it.
Each and every generation when a new console launch, the following year always surpasses the one before it.
Take a look:
360: 2007 saw a growth of 15.85 %
PS3: 2008 saw a growth of 28.81 %
Wii: 2008 saw a growth of 46.12 %
Now, I am not saying, that PS4 will receive a significant boost such as the Wii's, but PS4's boost will certainly not be lower than 360's, that much I am sure.
PS4's lowest week was 128,696, May 17th, so 51,304 short.
What I keep telling myself is:
- PS4 will receive its annual boost.
- PS4 won't be supply constrained in 2015.
- PS4 is likely to perform better in Japan in 2015.
- PS4 will launch in China.
- PS4 will have a lot of games in 2015, many of those timed, console and full exclusives.
