It's an excellent platformer with just a few bugs. 

Maybe you should play the platformer games of your avatar to see what precise controls do to a platformer game! 

A few bugs? Friends of mine were working for hours in the level editor and all of a sudden the game crashed! They lost everything! This happened more than once. And the framerate is horrible! A platformer needs 60fps with no drops. 

But yes, the level editor is great, I'll give it that much. 

I have played many many platformers over the years and I can safely say LBP is one of the best. 

Luckily most people disagree with you then! 

The level editor is great yes, the platforming not so much. Very mediocre stuff. 

Curious to see how Mario Maker will match up in the level editor department.
