SvennoJ --- yes i am driving in third person. Have tried driving in first person mode. The interior loosk nice, especially with the sunlight reflecting from rear view mirror. Will playing more tonight after work :D. Ah fair enough , the game is fun though.

Play some more events, the beauty is in the variety and lighting. Definitely try first person some more. For example at night you're headlights reflect in the rearview and side mirrors of the cars in front of you, details you probably miss from 3rd person camera angle.

FH2 looks very good for an openworld game to me, but I have also seen many bland areas. I can't judge it though, haven't played it yet. In (gameplay) screenshots and videos driveclub looks much better. Could be because I have seen DC in motion without compression.

Comparing photo mode shots, the cars look a bit better in FH2, environment, lighting and effects, DC is way ahead.

It doesn't matter in the end. The games are a different genre, track based high score chasing vs openworld car rpg. Both do a great job to immerse you in the driving experience and excel in their strengths. Referring back to the thread title, it's hard to see why one scores 1.5 points higher on average.
