Went with Wii. It had the two most disappointing main console entries to the series.
Don't understand how anyone can hate on the original. It might still be the best of the entire series.

It's too hard to pinpoint the best console for Zelda, so I'm just going to give my list for top series entries across all platforms.
Ocarina>LoZ>Wind Waker>LttP>Majora's Mask>Spirit Tracks>Twilight Princess>Minish Cap>Four Swords series>Phantom Hourglass>Oracle games>Link's Awakening>AoL>Skyward Sword
Must play, GOAT games in the series ends after Majora's Mask. Spirit Tracks to Phantom Hourglass are all decent to great games but just aren't at the same level as the others. Bottom four can be skipped entirely. Spirit Tracks to Phantom Hourglass placements on the list are all fairly interchangeable, so don't get all butthurt if one of these is your fave and behind one that you hate.
