Now, you're taking it too far. RE5 was good but still not as good as RE4.

It was, for me at least.

Really? The AI? The inventory system? The scares? The story?

The story, characters, well-done offline co-op, superb replayability, huge amount of weaponry and secrets to find, refined Mercenaries mode, the even more refined Mercenaries Reunited mode, and one of the most polished and interesting DLCs in ages. (Even if it was veeeeeeeery short.)

While I liked Leon a lot, never cared much about the villain, Krauser or Ashley, and while there weren't that many moments, I never liked babysitting Ashley much (thankfully she's almost absent at the second half of the game). RE4 doesn't feature co-op. It's also less fluid than RE5 (understandable because it was an older game, but that's the reason why I value the sequel more too).
