Weak list, for a relatively weak year. Maybe not weak for Nintendo, but I wouldn't know.
It doesn't surprise me not to see Dark Souls 2, just like the first game, it is not mainstream or cool enough to get gotys. That doesn't change the fact that the game is very well-made, it prioritizes the quality of content over the quantity unlike Dragon Age.
