You are right about the pricing models and it basically means that you can save buckets of money by buying a few months down the line. I just got Wolfenstein for $15 during that flash sale on Amazon. You are paying to play it first. An even better example of this is PS+ Especially on PS3. I got thousands of dollars in games for $50 but most games are about a year old at best. Must say though, they are just as good free lol. I went out and bought Bioshock Infinite and it was worth it, but when it came free on PS+ it was still just as good.
