The thing is with Unity, Ubisoft is trying to make up for the PR nightmare.
I usually get the game day one but with all the BS i did not.
I agree that most 3rd party games do drop quickly in price. The one way they combat the lack of early sales is by having those collector edition versions that are way over priced. A lot of people like me are suckers for that and buy it. This is where they get a lot of there money from to compensate the drop in price on the standard version early.
