I try not to get on my friends' cases for buying newer games when I prefer to get them for a quarter or even a third of the price just one year later. But it's hard to understand buying at launch when even one month will make a huge difference, especially now that this generation has set the new standard for terrible launches.
This is definitely an extreme example, though. It might just be Amazon's doing. Best Buy still has the game for MSRP.
