Which is exactly what they did in America as well as the rest of the world (but mostly America and UK) - took advantage of early adopters knowing that loyal supporters would pay a premium. There's no reason what so ever that it should've launched at $500 with a kinect. $450 tops for that SKU, $400 from the beginning if they really wanted to compete.
