Aren't people being sarcastic when they say "MUrica". It was started as a way to mock people from the US in a hickish, illiterate way. I'm just curious. Or do people actually spell the continent incorrectly with pride?

You are absolutely right..  Most Americans dont get it though and thinks that we are just celebrating them.
