Come to think about it, I do very much WANT puzzles in the new Zelda! If there's no puzzles, this game more or less turns into Skyrim - which have no puzzles at all in its caves/castles. It's all combat, and I'd like at the very least SOME puzzles to give me a break from all the fighting...
