you cant knock free dlc. but yeah, the cole's legacy content is what i was referring to. youre talking a lot about remakes and remasters, nintendo doesnt remake or remaster games that came out a year ago. thats another annoying thing about the library of the other two consoles at the moment. its clear that priorities are different in these two camps (which is my main point, that philosophies are different). nintendo doesnt lower their price for years, but that also means that your game is worth more. people are going to pay 60 dollars for, say, infamous.. but in a year that game will get you maybe 4 dollars in cash. shit, you can trade in smash bros brawl and mario party 8 at gamestop still and get almost ten dollars in cash for either of those. so there are two sides to that argument. if its a game i want, im going to be paying full price anyway, but the difference is, since nintendo doesnt lower their prices, their games are worth more. and even when nitnendo discontinues the games, the prices go up just because nintendo games are worth more to the market. so again, there are two sides to that coin. |
I was talking about HD collections... I'm certain Sly, Ratchet, GoW , Jak and Daxter, PoP, FFX, DMC and other collections weren't a year old games when released, same with Halo MCC. Sure you can complain about TLOUR (that is more like a late port, but you don't have a problem with MK7 or SSB... you can say all you want about the games and the differences, but they are closer to TLOUR situation than to a full new release)... and if we were to talk about milking most Sony games either have 1-2 outputs per gen or are release on one gen and them release a new IP... but whatever.
On the value of the games... you were talking about bang per buk... so an PS/Xbox game by 20 dollars is more bang per buck than an WiiU for 60 (considering you like both games, if not one game you like for 120 outweight 10 games for 30 bucks all in). And I don't resell my games, just buy some used/discounted. So a game selling for 4 when you trade in and they reselling it for 40 or a game you selling for 10 and they reselling for 50 is no consequential for me, even more when you are able to buy the first new for 30 and the second you must pay 60.
Your game isn't worth the same just because a company manipulate the market with riging.
