| telsta said: Yeah after one Year i am not quite as happy as you. As said in another Thread i love the Specs, the Dualshock, the Design and the missing Power Brick (big plus for me - i know others don't care but that was nearly a gamechanger for me). BUT: gamewise was nearly no fun at all - i guess like many for me next Gen will start 2015, after Bungie and InFamous let me down in 2014. so far i played KNACK (was a launch day bundle gor me), INFAMOUS SECOND... and DESTINY. On the other hand big let down in Comparison to my friends XbO are the apps: I must say i really have no idea what you guys in the US got, but i only have YOUTUBE, HEADSET COMPANION APP, VIDZONE and NETFLIX (which will start broadcasting in 2015) and that's it. My friend has plenty of apps ( jealous for Amazon instant movie, NHL, NBA, trueachievements). Maybe i belong to those, which are more adressed with Microsofts Definition of next Gen. I am not planing to sell my PS4 at all, but for the first time since release i am planing to get myself a Xbox One as well .... Gears of War on Next Gen could pull me over the edge |
Most apps are not region locked, so if you make a US account, PS4 also has NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB (they all require subscription from the leagues of course), Crunchyroll, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu... Those movie services are of course unavailable outside the US, and you would have been in the same boat with XOne, unfortunatelly.
