Captain Toad isn't 720p with no AA.

My fault. I was thinking of Mario Kart 8.

"Captain Toad delivers a 1280x720 image with limited edge smoothing"

So Captain Toad is 720p with almost no AA. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Well, the game is playable on day one. That's a feat in this day and age lol.

How many broken games (at launch) with 1080p and AA have we had this year? Let's see, Driveclub, the Crew, Assasins Creed: Unity, Watch Dogs, LittleBigPlanet 3, Halo: Master Chief Collection, etc.

Now perhaps you'll understand why people praise Nintendo: for its smooth gameplay.

I'm not going to defend those broken games but Id appreciate it if you grouped them by publisher, that kind of puts the OMG buggy games hype into perspective. Many publishers have released games that work just fine in 2014 so lets not act like there aren't any competent devs apart from Nintendo. Metro Redux [60fps], Far Cry 4, Wolfenstein [60fps], Dragon Age, Shadow of Mordor, Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes [60fps], Final Fantasy XIV Online: A Realm Reborn [60fps], The Last of Us Remastered [60fps], Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare [60fps], Guilty Gear EX and a bunch of others all worked fine on day one. The fact is buggy games are in the minority, the problem is that some of the most hyped games of 2014 were the ones with bugs, and all of those games were clearly rushed for the Holidays. I blame publisher greed rather than developer incompetence.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
