Not if I'm losing money on the device. Losing $60 through a free game promotion is a significant amount. 

If that's how you think it is then why would black friday be a thing? Its a full weekend of nothing but crazy deals. Trust me, there's profit.

Black friday is a kinda a scam. Retailers raise prices a few days before than claim to offer huge discounts on BF. Silly customers fall for it, and thenk they are saving lots of money. That's why all retailers report their highest profits at this time of the year. That's how they profit. Do you think those retailers offer "huge discounts" on products, lose money on them, and still somehow report the highest profits of the year? That doesn't make sense.
