The Dreamcast sold as much in three months as the PS4 has managed in ten, and that was considered a great disappointment to Sega. The Dreamcast also launched with only four titles and had a serious software drought for its first 6 months.
This speaks volumes about where the console market currently is in Japan.
I am certain that the PS4 will eventually outsell the Dreamcast in Japan, but it is going to take a while.
