They cut price because they got beaten all year long by PS4 and HAD to do something about it.
Do you really think MS wanted it that way ? Do you really think they expected, a year ago, to need to lower entry price from 500$ to 329$ with two games in order to manage getting a victory this November ? I don't think so...
MS had to sacrifice XBO price to avoid losing their main market. Not saying it's a bad decision though, just saying it's a relative victory for now. Let's see what happens next in USA and WW. |
Becasue they don't have to give it away for free. Sure I'm sure dropping price wasn't in the plans, but you do what you have to do. As a comsumer I love it. hoperfully it forces Sony to drop their price.
