Driveclub is the most underrated game of the year

Actually, the online portion of the game worked fine when most critics were playing it. It got punished for other reasons.

The PS4 is a lacking notable racing games so people will buy Driveclub. But maybe an Arcade racer wasn't a good idea.

I think quite a lot of people still like the track racers.  I know that nowadays there seems to be a trend for "open world" pretty much everything but for me, especially on the other PS systems the one game I looked out for on release was.....Ridge Racer.  To this day I think for OTT arcade racing, these still sit top of the pile (apart from the god awful Unbounded last gen).

I think Driveclub, now its all fully up and running, "kinda" fills the gap left by no RR on PS4.
