Mario can use a star and be untouchable en kill Master Chief in one touch..

Well Sonic has got those mini-stars surrounding him that make him too invulnerable..

so the battle is actually between Mario and Sonic,
Master Chief stand no chance..

and then Sonic wins.. because he is way faster than Mario,
Mario doesn't have any other adventages than maybe flying or trowing fire-balls,
but I think Sonic is still too quick..
