Honestly, I really don't care about the hardware. I was invested in the concept of motion controls and loved them, and then Nintendo just decided "oh, that was just something we dabbled in, the tablet controller is really the next step in game-play." Anyway, I care about software, in other words good games. Innovation is only necessary in so much that it makes the games feel fresh to old players. Nintendo has failed to do that with the Wii U. The games play exactly the same.
