Sony had decent deals and a reasonable price for a console for that time period in the generation. To say MS victory is due to failure on Sony's part is both arrogant in it's own right and quite unfair. MS had a huge success and it was not at the failure of others. They offered the console for $349 + 2 games + a $50 gift card on top of deals retailers were offering. They did so well because they made a huge sacrifice(a sacrifice that should be respected, accepted, and acknowledged) that made the cost of the console even cheaper than the wii u. They made their console the cheapest/greatest value per cost on the market during November and it paid off.
