I dont see Nintendo ever gaining traction again. The pool of gamers is only so big. You have Sony fans, you have MS fans and the first year sales(in an abysmal year for games) gives you an idea of how big those fanbases are. The kids of today grew up on MS/Sony and that is where they game. People with Nintendo now are kind of what is left of the real base of the company. Its not getting any bigger cause most kids are growing up with Sony/MS and will put their dollars towards those brands once they are of earning age.
Ive said it before, Nintendo could have released a console 2x as powerful as the PS4 and things wouldn't be much different than they currently are console sales wise. The only thing that can save them is for them to true exclusive moneyhat/buy out an existing IP that people care about. I am talking MGS, COD levels of big.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
