#21: Portal 2 (Valve, 2011) - PC (also on PS3 and 360)

YES, more of the genius portal mechanic! People were skeptical that something as small as Portal could become a full-fledged retail release, but oh boy were they wrong. It's short, yes, but every minute of it is excellent and every aspect of the game was polished beyond belief, particularly the writing, with GLaDOS being as great as ever, and the introduction of Wheatley and Cave Johnson. That creepy and hostile atmosphere of the end of the first game is here throughout the entire game, which I greatly enjoy. Much like the first game, I can replay this one many, many times.

Sadly, Valve can't count to 3.
