Sony + Nintendo Have A Deal For a Super Mario Movie

doubt it cause this deal mainly relates to the film disvion of Sony's which is completely different from the gaming divsion. 

It is sort of strange Nintendo would opt for Sony though. I'm sure Dreamworks or even Disney or Universal would have taken them up on a Mario movie too. 

It will also be kinda weird if Mario turns into a big movie franchise and as such becomes a big money maker for Sony (and Nintendo of course). The day where we see a headline like "Sony counting on Mario to boost profits" may actually happen, haha. 

i am kinda curious why they went with Sony Pictures instead of Dreamworks or Pixar or Disney cause i do think a Mario movie is better in any of those hands but its likely cause they simply got a better deal with Sony over those companies.
