I don't think Mario works in live action ... but in CG with a good director like the Samurai Jack guy, yeah I can see that working. Kids will watch any CG animated movie and this will probably draw a lot of adults who grew up with Mario too. Could be big. 

Big win for Sony too no? Do they have any big family CG movie properties? Seems like Disney and Dreamworks Animation hog the entire market. This could get Sony into the game.
