This is the year of music games on the Wii. Wii Music, GH Aerosmith, Battle of the Bands, that Disney crap, Sega's music game, Hudson's download service in Japan, Rock Band, GH4, Dance Dance Revolution, High School Musical... Expect Wii Music and GH4 to post huge numbers. I expect Wii to be the most popular console with music game fans for the rest of the current generation.
The Wii will also have lots of RPGs. Expect 1/2 of the big PS2 RPGs on Wii. Square will put at least 5 series on Wii (2 are already out and FFCC is already announce). Namco has a release of its biggest RPG series and MH3 is on Wii. More RPGs will be announced.
After Nintendo releases Mario Baseball, Animal Crossing, and Wii Music, they should start to move away from publishing casual games on Wii. Of course, Marty Party 9 and a few others will come, but I mean for the most part. Nintendo will have lots of filler games (like those mentioned above) and by the end of 2010, new Zelda and Mario games will be released.
