#23 - Super Mario Bros. 3

My favorite NES game. A masterpiece of level design, Super Mario Bros. 3 expanded the Mario forumla with fun new ideas like a world map, optional battles, airship levels and hidden secrets. This game also features fun new power ups like the Super Leaf which gives you a raccoon tail which in turn allows you to fly (none of this makes sense but just go with it).
