Worried about possibly too much gameplay in MGS4.

Can you just skip the cut scenes and just play the game? I can not stand cut scenes in games. They look good but I just want to play the game and shoot and kill things.

BTW: Devil May Cry 4- the cut scenes looked so much better than the gameplay.
