Destiny: Buy the on-disc DLC or Bungie removes content from your game

Haven't touched Destiny since I got Dragon Age and Far Cry. But if this is true, then that's really shitty of them. I can't see this going to well with their fans and they really hurting the Destiny brand before they even have chance to turn into a big franchise.
