If you're going to pick up LBP3 eventually anyway, get FC4. You can have fun with it, then buy LBP3 on the cheap once there is more user created content floating around (there's already a crap ton from its compatibility with LBP1 and 2, but not much with LBP3's own new tools yet. At least that's what I've been told).
