as for line up's they are comparable. which has the better line up is debatable for 08. for 09 we don't KNOW exactly what is coming out.
as for that "ps3 game with the 360, i don't know about you, but it looks to me like the ps3 will still have less units sold than the 360 by the end of 2009. i could be wrong, but current rate of ps3 sales vs 360 is any indication, then i am correct
unless the ps3 averagely outsells the 360 by ~90 thousand units a WEEK, by the end of 09, the 360 will Still have more units sold than the ps3,, the ps3 for the entire year since january, is averaging only 52k more a week..unless this average changes... jan 1 2010 the 360 will still have more units sold than the ps3
