I didn't see the "until" part. My bad. Yet it will still be interesting to see what happens.

Since you and I are the only ones discussing this part of the topic, do you think it can be done? I have my reservations that this licensee or any other will successfully do it. It would be nice for them to succeed though. It still leaves it up in the air that even if one licensee is successful, if the next one will be. Epic has already stated they will not create a usable UE3 for the Wii, so each licensee would have to figure it out for themselves.

Do you think the Wii can take over as lead platform on many multiplatform games with the hurdles of UE3 on Wii and the fact that the engine is so popular to use? I mean for christ sakes even Square is using it. I just can't see the Wii taking lead platform over many multiplats unless UE3 is made available by Epic as a usable option for the Wii at the time of licensing.

Well if the developer figures it out, they could just make a deal with Epic to license the Wii version to other developers.

It's still up in the air how it will work, so for now, I'm just waiting.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
