How many new IP's would Sony come out with? They've invested in more new IP's than MS and Nintendo combined in the last few years, and some of them bombed pretty hard despite being very good (like Tearaway). With an established IP like SF, they have many advantages.

SF has a huge fanbase which would now either go to PS4 or PC now with SF V, and now Sony have a console exclusive fighter which is also a part of Evo tournaments. Just like MS saw ROTTR as an answer to UC4, I think Sony saw SF V as the answer to KI.

And many more of them were downright mediocre or terrible. No, what I was hoping for was a new Sony IP that they invested greatly in, not just a one-off project with minimal funding.

But yes, I've already said, it was a great move by Sony and one that will bring them money in the long run through sales. As a consumer though, it hurts.

A few of them were mediocre like Sorcery and Beyond: Two Souls. But the majority were good/very good like Driveclub (I know you think otherwise of this game, but its easily one of my favourite arcade racing games of the decade), Tearaway, Puppeteer and many others.

As I said they came out with many new IP's which haven't sold well. MS and Nintendo should come up with them more often, not Sony. Also why does it hurt you? You don't have a PS4?

I have a PS4, but it means less funding for something else. Personally, I see Street FIghter as an aging franchise that is in declinement, and not worth trying to keep alive. That being said, I hope it is successful and helps move units. We'll see.
