Bold: If the publisher doesn't release enough info for the consumer, I would say its the fault of both and I do think they are fairly gullible considering how many terrible games get sold each year

italic: Again, I never said the game itself is bad, all I said was that. And TB did say that "Your traveling fast, your frame rate is gonna hitch, over and over again, it consistently happens, it even happened just there as I was moving fairly normally, just sprinting around the place" 11:50. And its not like Far Cry 4 is a small game, the game is huge and you are gonna have to use cars and things a lot in order to get around. Again, as I said, the game is awesome in every way but this is certainly noticable. The port is overall great and the graphics do look pretty but the stuttering is still an issue

Underlined: If you are tired of the hate bandwagon, do what everyone else does and just ignore the posts and threads... Not very hard

Edit: Okay, underlining does not work for some reason

Hence patience being a virtue and you may think that those games are bad but how exactly is your judgement any better than theirs ?

Framerate variance is mostly dependent upon your PC build. FC4's MINIMUM framerates isn't much of an issue as most high end PC gamers will comfortably net above 50+ FPS. The game just scales poorly in terms of average framerates and it's likely caused by the asset loading issues which is plagued in most open world games so why exactly would FC4 be different in that regard ?

Except how does one go about ignoring the hate going on when it's practically everywhere ?

Patience is a virtue that not everyone has and there are many new gamers being made everyday who don't know how the gaming industry works or how explotive they can be so that "broken trust" that many gamers had between the publishers and themselves might not be there yet for many consumersl. Oh and obviously its a subjective thing but generally, if a game is bad from many reviewers, its probably bad for the majority of the players

Well, the issue is the consistant frame rates rather than the minimum framerates cause if the frame is steady at 100 and the all of a sudden drops below 55, it is highly noticable, annoying and immersion breaking and if it happens consistantly, then its not really a good thing... And I have played quite a few open world games such as sleeping dogs where things like this would be minimal. Granted the graphics in Far Cry 4 is much better than sleeping dogs but working within limitations is always the key. Heck, if you have seen TB's DA:I review, you would see that the stuttering issue is not there

And its not that bad... If I managed to live through the wiiU hate in 2013 by ignoring countless comments and threads, I am pretty sure you can live through Ubisoft's "hate". And I mean, the only reason they are even getting hate is cause they are the main publisher in 2014 that has consistantly managed to get on most people's bad side in 2014. 2013 was EA turn and even 2012, EA was being hated and since Ubisoft has overtaken EA in terms of doing wonky things for this year, Ubisoft is getting all the hate. Who knows which publisher it will be next year so it won't really last forever
