As for Sony they have more than enough resources to fund SF V, but whether they should have spent their money somewhere else is their decision.

And Sony is hemoragging money in many of its departments. Sony has some money, yes, and it is their decision on where they should spend it. Personally I believe investing in a new IP would be ideal, but Sony apparently disagrees.

If Capcom didn't have the budget last October, they should have waited to see the sales on Monster Hunter this year. They certainly have some cash now.

Either way, great aquisition by Sony. Not one that I personally agree with or support, but hopefully it will pay dividends for them.
