If what you say is true about their reasoning for starting this petition, then yes they are ridiculous by what they want but also by their actions. Anyone who thinks women and men should not be treated equally is, frankly, a terrible person. Feminism is an ideal, there are productive ways and unproductive ways of achieving this.

Well then I'll consider your opinion on the subject the same as of socialists. Ideally it's good, RL cases though are not a good portrayal of the ideal they say they defend.

Anytime you have treated a woman fairly and equally: politically, socially, and economicaly, you just perfomed a real life example of feminism.
