For me personally, I would never buy a laptop that's not 1080P but that may not matter to you.

My current laptop screen is 1600 x 900, that's what I'm use to so it doesn't matter if it's 1080p.

Get the Lenova. Decent GPU for some light gaming. My laptop has a GT 630M and I can play pretty much any 2012-2013 game with lowered settings, and the GPU in the Lenova is a bit better than mine so you shouldn't have a problem. Don't expect to run any of the newer 2014 games like Watch Dogs or AC Unity though, I don't think it will be able to.
