This is actually highly interesting from a technological standpoint. That none of the terrain information is on the diesk so that your HDD won't fill up the more you see. One formular for the whole universe is pretty damn impressive which also means that it's the same for everyone.
This thing is just a great technological show piece for any game developer.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
