My daughter is literally having to share books because the school cant afford anymore. I thought it was cause her school isn't in the best part of town but then my cousin who lives in one of the richest areas around has been dealing with the same thing. They literally make photocopies of the book for the kids to take home. So they can afford to waste all that paper but just buying the book is to much. |
funding schools is a waste of money. thas the conclusion i have come to after doing interviews with students for a sociology class i had (college). you would be amazed how much of these people are blithering idiots who cannot form a coherent setence, thought, or idea. funding the school isnt going to make a difference in any of that. if youre talking pre-college, then yes, maybe those schools should b funded enough to at least not force students to share books, but ill tell you that real learning occurs when you want it to. we have so many resources at our disposal, and we cant blame the fact that we have dumb students because of low funding in schools. thats just shifting responsobility.
i say give these students the test whether they learn it in school or not. they can learn it on their own. im telling you, in the real world, youre going to have to look shit up yourself. all the time. we wilk be doing these highschool students a service to not be so fucking reliant on teachers and "funding for schools".
