Is the PSP considered successful for Sony?

Madden, Sales kept increasing till 08 (When all Madden sales were down)

Metal Gear, sales increase. (though portable ops is different from acid... by a lot i believe)

Monster Hunter, sales increase.

So it seems that sales have mostly increased... just not at the level of pure gaming platforms.
