We could certainly use that in Canada. Would be nice to see some greenery during the freezing winters. 

It could also be a good way to find new uses to abandoned underground facilities like old train or metro stations/tunnels, for example.

 

@Rope-free elevator: The only thing that makes that video somewhat believable is that it comes from a known and reputable brand as ThyssenKrupp, but still it doesn't say how the elevator is supposed to work.
