PS1 and PS2 are such classics. PS3 and PS4 start-ups are disappointing though. PS1 and PS2 start-up themes were computer-generated which fit with what the consoles were: machines. Mechanical, artificial, technological entities of metal and plastic. PS3 and PS4 start-ups sound like they used actual live instruments which just doesn't fit thematically...
