Well I don't know about that. I did play a bit of Sonic & Knuckles back in the day and loved it, but couldn't get to play more because I didn't actually own it. I've tried playing both it and Sonic 3 more recently and just couldn't enjoy them, I might try them out later.

Also, Wing Fortress might have been somewhat annoying but it was one hell of an awesome level all things considered. I loved how the game changed near the end, though I have to say the oil zone (forgot the name, damn) was very annoying and I hated how endless Metropolis felt. Still a great experience, though.


Playing Sonic 3 and then Sonic & Knuckles separate may not be that great. I'm talking about playing them locked-on, as was originally envisioned. And I didn't mind Metropolis' length (Sandopolis in Sonic 3 is bigger actually), I'm talking about the bullshit enemy/enemy placement there. Blargh.

But can we both agree that Sonic 1 is kinda meh nowadays though...?
