My tastes evolved. I liked JRPGs the most on ps1, and ps2. It was my favorite genre. I find a lot of them too easy, repetitive and redundant. Not saying JRPGS would be horrible it is just not a priority for me. The show is in Las Vegas so it does not seem like the ideal place for jrpgs.

Well, first there is no evolution. What you are talking about and mixing JRPGs with are bad games. Shooters are just as easy and repetitive and redudant have been around since doom and wolfenstein first came out. Good games are good games, and bad games are bad games. Dont go generalising a whole genre with that.
With that said, i dont see why the show has to be restricted. How else are they going to get the exposition they need to bring a resurgence? Persona 5 and FFXV would definitly make great showings. This isnt an executive event. It is the perfect place to unveil just about everything.
You will get all the realistic AAA titles on the game awards.

My lack of wanting, or preferring jrpgs does not hurt anyone. People describe shooters like that all the time. meh, whatever. My appeal is in openworld, wrpg and tps. Just as I origanally wrote. You're just assuming I want fps because of your own generalizing. You asked me why I did not want jrpgs after all.

I didnt assume anything. I used shooters as an example. It can be applied to every genre.
