Which should be expected since the card is a lot older than the 980/970. Still, it actually run games at 4K better than 980 SLI while being cheaper, and also Crossfire currently has better framepacing than SLI. Great value for anyone gaming at 4K.

You know, AMD GPUs never conviced me. They run hot as hell, they use a lot of power (so "cheaper" is a strong word if it will cost you on a monthly bill).

And a lot of games have issues with AMD GPUs (bad optimization on the game or on AMD's driver). So it is sad to see top GPUs by AMD being crushed by mid-level NVidia ones in specific games that have (or had before patching) issues, like Unity, WD, Wolfenstein. NVidia has way more software expertise and that shows in these moments.
