#31: Rayman Legends (Ubisoft, 2013) - PC (also on PS3, PS4, Vita, Wii U, 360 and One)

This game is tied with Yoshi's Island as my favorite 2D platformer ever. It's everything that made Origins fantastic, but even better somehow. I also beat this game in about a day or two, it's intoxicating. And those music stages are GENIUS. I'd play a whole game just with that. This is actually going to be one of the first games I'll buy for the PS4 when I get one. I really do hope that we get a third game in this "modern" Rayman series, it'd be shame for it to die after just 2 ames...

#30: it's a remake of a REALLY popular franchise.

We have Rayman Legends in the same rank XD

Also, on game 30, it's a remake of a whole franchise?
If it's of a game (the first) in that franchise, then I'm going with Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green.

You got it. Though I don't understand how it could be a remake of a "whole franchise"

Hint for #30
One of PS2's most popular early games. It launched this franchise into one of gaming's most popular.

God of War or Killzone

nope.  This franchise is no longer exclusive to killzone.  Also I said early and neither of those was (2004 and 2005 I believe).  To be clear this franchise was around before just not super popular like it got after this early PS2 entry.

GTA 3?

Missed a few days on this...

36. This game recruited former enemies to help take out a mandrill.
35. This sequel fell a bit flat.
34. Fighting game that uses a controller that I'm not particularly fond of.
33. A strange story of a prince and his cousins.
32. Here come the men in black.
31. Game that a lot of people are seeing through a new perspective now.

31 is GTA 5?
